Module 10e · Interactive browser testing & live recorder
Practice: capture and review a Salesforce account-page interaction
Use a QForce training job and a sandbox account. Start the viewer and recorder, then run the login-page checks below. Sign in through your approved secure workflow; never put passwords into recorded keyword lines.
In the viewer, navigate to Accounts and open a disposable test account. Inspect the page to choose readable text locators. Stop the recorder with Ctrl-C before reviewing the saved file and session history.
$ agentia testing browser start <job-id> --project <project-id> --library QForce$ agentia testing browser view --project <project-id># In a second terminal; stop recording with Ctrl-C when finished.$ agentia testing browser recorder --project <project-id> --output ./tests/account-capture.robot# In the first terminal while the recorder is running:$ agentia testing browser execute --project <project-id> \ --line "GoTo https://login.salesforce.com" \ --line "VerifyText Username"$ agentia testing browser inspect --project <project-id>$ agentia testing browser screenshot --project <project-id> --output ./tmp/account-screen.png$ agentia testing browser history <job-id> --project <project-id> --lines-only$ agentia testing browser stop --project <project-id>Check your results
- Confirm account-capture.robot contains the intended navigation, not unrelated clicks, passwords or personal data. Review the screenshot against the recorded actions.
- Recording interactions is not an assertion: add a meaningful check for the account name or type, and validate the keyword in the live session before stopping it.
- Treat the recording as draft steps, not automatically a runnable suite. Merge reviewed steps into a .robot test with the required library, setup and assertions, then upload it using 10b and run it using 10c.
